Days 1, 2, 3

Begin your self drive at Nashville, the home of country music, famous for the likes of Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Visit the Jack Daniels distillery and music museums. Walk in the same footsteps of music legends with a trip to the Grand Ole Opry, the longest running radio broadcast in US history, and dance the night away in the saloon-style bars that run the length of Broadway, where local bands propagate the rhythmic and fun-loving culture of this terrific destination.

Days 3, 4, 5

Next make your way next to Memphis, the birthplace of Rock n Roll, famed also for it's soul music, where artists as Elvis Pressley, BB King, Al Green, Isaac Hayes, Sam Phillips and Otis Redding made a name for themselves, and can be found in the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. Journey back in time through the Rock n Roll museums, enjoy the vibrant nightlife around Beale Street, and don't forget pay homage to "The King" with a visit out to Graceland, thank you very much. 

Days 5, 6

Break up your next drive with a stopover at Natchez, set along the Mississippi River with breathtaking views, this lovely destination is steeped in over 300 years of history and guests will find it a true testament to southern hospitality. Marvel at the antebellum homes and churches, art galleries, and stretch those weary legs along any number of the walking trails set amidst this fascinating settlement.

Days 6, 7, 8, 9

Finally, conclude your journey with a visit to New Orleans, famous for the annual Mardi Gras festival, where food, parades, music and nightlife turn this destination into the party capital of Louisiana. Enjoy the sights and culinary delights of the French Quarter, the heartbeat of the city where the famous Bourbon Street strip entices any appetite; the creole and cajun influence of cooking leaving you wanting more.
